In a political campaign that has had something to say about nearly every important issue of our time, the topic of AGW has been conspicuously absent.

I saw someone make the following comment...

Sandy, and Bloomberg's recent endorsement of Obama, seem to have put AGW back on the radar.

Here is my reply...

• Too bad we had to have Sandy to give this subject the attention it deserves.
   
• Too bad Sandy will do nothing to quiet the peddlers of doubt.
   
• Too bad so many people who have not YET had to suffer any serious consequences of AGW will continue to find comfort in the propaganda spread by those peddlers of doubt.
   
• Too bad we have a history of waiting to make changes until the pain of not changing is worse than the pain of changing.
